Custom web applications
Browser-based tools for operations, bookings, records or customer portals, built as modules with clear boundaries rather than one tangled codebase.
Taunton, Somerset / Software development
Modular Software Development Limited plans and builds web applications as sets of small, clearly labelled components, so each piece can be tested, replaced or extended without unpicking the whole.
Services, each a separable component
Browser-based tools for operations, bookings, records or customer portals, built as modules with clear boundaries rather than one tangled codebase.
Connectors between the systems you already use, documented so the joints are visible.
Test suites around each component so change can happen with less risk.
Gradually separating older software into parts that can be maintained.
Reusable, accessible UI pieces that keep screens consistent.
Repeatable release pipelines and environments, so shipping a change is routine rather than an event.
Dependency updates, small improvements and fixes, arranged around an agreed scope.
How a project is typically put together
We list what exists, what is needed and what can be reused, before any code is written.
Each module gets a short written contract: inputs, outputs and what "done" looks like.
Components are built and tested individually, in small increments you can review.
Modules are joined, integration-tested and released into an environment you control.
Where wanted, we stay on to adjust, replace or add parts as needs change.

Field note
Software that is split into well-defined parts tends to be easier to reason about. A change to invoicing should not risk the login screen. A component with its own tests can be swapped out when a better approach appears.
Modularity is not free: boundaries take thought up front. We aim to place them where your business actually changes, not everywhere.
Describe the system you have, or the one you need. A rough list of parts is plenty to begin with.
